Shipping & Delivery Policy

 

At Big Horn Mountain Farms, we are committed to delivering our premium Wyoming Wagyu beef and heritage pork in excellent condition—safely, reliably, and with full transparency.

Shipping Schedule

  • Weekly Shipping Day
    To avoid weekend delays, we only ship orders on Mondays. This ensures your products arrive in peak condition.

  • Carriers & Timing
    Orders are shipped using FedEx. Transit is 2-day (or overnight, if requested) shipping.

  • Cold Chain Integrity
    Each order is packed in insulated containers with dry ice to ensure your products stay frozen until they reach your doorstep.

  • Tracking Information
    Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. Please plan accordingly to receive your package promptly; we cannot be responsible for items that are left unattended after delivery.

  • Delivery Limitations
    We ship to addresses within the continental United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes, international addresses, or U.S. territories. All orders ship on Mondays via 2-day service.

Returns, Replacements & Claims

Because our products are perishable, we require prompt notification of any issues.

  • Reporting Window
    Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by emailing Sales@BigHornMountainFarms.com or calling (307) 217-9119.

  • Required Information
    Please provide:

    1. Your order number and delivery date/time

    2. Clear photos of the packaging and contents

    3. A brief description of the issue

  • Resolution Options

    • If the issue results from our error or carrier mishandling, we will issue a replacement or refund at our discretion.

    • Claims resulting from incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or refusal of delivery are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

 

Bulk & Wholesale Orders

We also offer flexible options for wholesale and bulk customers:

  • Local Pickup at our Buffalo, WY ranch by appointment

  • 2-Day FedEx Shipping with dry ice included

  • Advance Reservations for seasonal demand

  • Custom shipping arrangements available on request

  • Scheduled delivery to  major cities in surrounding states available on request

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Big Horn Mountain Farms website, online store, Honor Store, and related services. By purchasing from or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or use services requiring payment.

Product Information & Availability
All products are subject to availability and seasonal variation. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or substitute cuts of equal value when necessary due to processing or animal yield variability.
Listed weights are estimates. Final pricing is based on actual packaged weight unless otherwise stated.

Pre-Orders & Deposits
Pre-orders reserve product from a future harvest. Harvest timelines are estimates and depend on animal growth and seasonal conditions.
Deposits are non-refundable once the animal has entered processing.

Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment must be received prior to pickup or shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Shipping & Pickup
Shipping is fulfilled through third-party carriers. Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the carrier accepts the shipment.
Local pickup options require adherence to posted pickup times.

Food Safety
All products are USDA-inspected and professionally processed. Once products leave our possession, proper storage and handling are the customer’s responsibility.

Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final unless product arrives damaged or unsafe.
Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic documentation.

Honor Store
The Honor Store operates on a self-serve basis. Customers are responsible for accurately recording purchases and submitting payment promptly.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big Horn Mountain Farms is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of services or consumption of products.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.
