Reserve Your Share
You are reserving a share of a live animal. Once the animal reaches its ideal harvest weight, we will coordinate the harvest date and transport it to your selected local processing facility. Beef is then aged to develop flavor before processing.
After your reservation is confirmed, we will contact you with the available harvest dates and participating processing facilities. You will select your processor and work directly with them to submit your cutting instructions, discuss specialty requests, arrange processing payment, and schedule pickup of your finished meat.
Big Horn Mountain Farms will send your final animal invoice based on the actual hanging weight, minus the deposit you have already paid. Processing fees are separate and paid directly to the processing facility.
Estimates are based on average hanging weights of approximately 1,000 pounds for beef and 200 pounds for pork, using basic bone-in cuts. Actual animal size and take-home yield will vary. One hundred percent grass-finished beef is generally smaller, and your final yield will depend on the animal’s hanging weight and the custom cuts you select.
We’ll raise the animal, coordinate the harvest, and deliver it to the processor—you’ll work directly with your chosen processor to customize your order and bring home a freezer full of ranch-raised meat.
