Traceability Is Not a Marketing Term

Traceability has become a popular phrase.
At its core, it simply means this: you know where your food came from.
When you purchase directly from a ranch, there are no anonymous layers between you and your protein.
You can ask:
What was the feed program?
How were the animals handled?
Where was it processed?
And you can receive clear answers.
When you reserve a whole, half, or quarter beef, you are committing to months of meals. That decision deserves transparency.
At Big Horn Mountain Farms, our cattle are pasture-raised and finished with non-genetically modified feed. They are raised without antibiotics or hormones. Our hogs are raised with the same level of intention.
Traceability reduces uncertainty.
It builds trust.
It supports consistency.
Bulk purchasing should come with clarity, not assumptions.
