The Pork Picnic Shoulder comes from the lower portion of the hog’s front shoulder, just below the Boston butt. This cut includes part of the leg and shoulder muscle, offering excellent marbling, connective tissue, and rich pork flavor. It’s ideal for pulled pork, carnitas, and traditional braises, especially when cooked low and slow to tender perfection.
